Really good laptop for the price. I actually bought this almost exclusively for the digital art potential. The Wacom digitizer works really well. I would recomend purchasing a bigger pen with an eraser, as the stock one is quite small and requires the use of an external keyboard in order to use Photoshop for drawing and painting. I thought about a Surface pro, but for the equivelant price, you get better specs with this ultrabook. This is not the laptop to get for gaming, as it lacks a dedicated graphics card, but the integrated intel chip has enough power to run photoshop without lags. For general use, it is very quick and snappy with 8gb of ram and SSD. It boots up in seconds. The screen looks really good at 1080 resolution ND 12.5" it's very sharp and bright, good contrast ratio. The battery life is good. I got this used, so I was not expecting great life, but it lasts a few hours of intensive use. It would be nice to have an easily removable battery, but for the thin form factor, that is not an option, however it can be replaced if you have a screwdriver. Keyboard is excelent, and the trackpad is way better than I was expecting. I actually really like the built in clicky pad, as it gets rid of the ugly buttons and enlarges the size of pad. Gestures work great andd are customizable. Screen is responsive to touch, as you would expect. I like the ful 360 degree rotation and hinges are built very well. I like the all metal construction. Speakers are not great, but I use bluetooth headphones for the most part. I really like the thin ultrabook form factor. it is very portable. I would have liked it if it had thinner bezels and larger 14" screen, but I'm actually surprized at how usable and reasonably big the 12.5 inch screen is. Like I said I got this mostly for digital art and it does take a bit to get used to drawing on the screen, but I am liking the endless potential of photoshop. I was considering getting a seperate drawing tablet and regular laptop, but I would have spent twice as much than I did for this pre owned all in one.Read full review

I searched for a quality 2-in-1 with high expectations. Deciding on the Thinkpad Yoga 12.5 was a great decision. It is light, fast, and powerful enough to suit my needs. I was thrilled to see my model show up in pristine condition. With a Wacom digitizer and a pen included, I love it.

This is the best purchase decision I have made in my College/University career. The product is fast, light, and sturdy. I made sure to get the one with the Wacom screen digitizer. This enables me to draw and make handwritten notes. Paired with One Note these devices are the best combo for notetaking and for artists. I chose this over the Surface Pro 3 because I was going to be programming on this too, so I needed the superior keyboard of the thinkpad. The only con is the size of the stylus, but that can be remedied by buying a larger Wacom one. It is nice to be able to buy styluses with replaceable nibs.
