What a great product, first saw Chris on Clipspring use it in his videos so wrote to him and got the details. Had to get it from USA but it was a hassle free purchase and quick international post. Goes onto metal in a solid coat using the handy brush in cap so that when you do your laying out marks they remain clear and concise. Cutting compounds etc don't deteriorate the marks and removal of excess is easy with a Dykem remover or white spirit. i should have gotten a bigger bottle however as find I use it more often because of the clarity of marking. Would highly recommend this product for ease and prescion

This product is great for precise layout, especially on clean or polished steel...applies easily and dries in the time it takes me to reload my pipe and light it. My previous use of Dykem has been all good and I expect this can to work just as well!

I have used this product since my teen years when I worked as a machinist. It is the Premier brand and a quality product. If you want the best results when scribing use the best product, this is it.

What can I say? It's layout fluid. It works and it works well. As a 17& 1800's Period Correct knife maker, it's always been a pain in the butt to use a Black Marker, This Dykem has been a great addition to my shop. Not just for knives, but for most of the layout work I do. Thanks: Two Feathers at The Mountain Man Emporium

I had a metal can of Dykem that I figured would last me a lifetime. Got it about 30 years ago. Grabbed it off the shelf a week ago and it was dry. Turned out the can had rusted out from the inside. So, I'm hoping this will last as long. A little goes a long way, and some things need a brush on layout fluid.
