Compact, easy to use
This smaller grill is perfect for cooking for two; but certainly could handle bigger portions. It's much more compact than the large worn out grill it replaced. Assembly was easy, but attaching the hood to the body step would be easier with another pair of hands. The info on the grill touts the fact that the infared method produces juicier grilled meat. I must say that so far that does not seem to be an empty brag. A pleasant cooking surprise was the instruction to simply spread some unsoaked wood chips directly on the cooking grate. This provided a wonderfully subtle (only 8 minutes cooking time) hickory flavor to some thick pork chops. Again, they were very juicy. So far, I am very pleased with this grill. In researching it before purchase I noticed a few complaints about the electric igniter. Mine has worked fine. If it were to fail, the grill can be match lit, so it would not be a disaster being still usable until a repair could be made. Read full review

Tried infrared dont like
Used it for awhile and grew to dislike it. The stainless grill top was difficult to clean due to the fact it was one stamped stainless plate with many small holes and furrows. It worked well at first but got more greasy with black debris in the furrows and holes. I threw it out and bought a cheaper two burner with a wire grate that I like.

Convenience flavor and no flame ups!!!!
This grill makes my big and more expensive Weber grill look like crap! Infrared heat to cook to Pete tino is the way To go!!!!! My biggest concern was to burn the food with one of my old grill's flame ups from the oil or food residues from the time I cooked before. For my surprise it does not do so because of the design it has. The food has never been so flavorful and moist. This grill is the answer to all your prayers and inconveniences that come from big and more expensive grills. Again this unit replaced my old Weber grill which is huge and has way more capacity but does not have infrared technology this small unit has; therefore the big grill gave me dried out food and burned because of the flare ups it constantly produced. I would highly recommend it!!!

LOVE THIS GRILL!!
This little grill from Char-Broil is awesome! It is round, so there is no wasted heat. It has a domed top that is porcelain coated, and really gets hot fast! We have had several grills over time and this is probably the best and cheapest in price we have ever purchased. It is really nice for a small family, and there is just 2 of us. Perfect in every way. Very well made. I put it together without my husband helping and it only took me about 25 minutes or so and I only needed a pair of pliers and a screwdriver. Solid, sturdy. When we wear this one out we will buy another. Small footprint so doesn't take up lots of space. Love it! Best grill ever!

Great grill
It was a little time consuming to assemble but well worth it when done. I have been grilling for over 50 years and have never had a gas grill so effective and easy to use! Great grill marks and nice, even heat. I love the battery operated igniter! It works much better than any friction igniter I've ever used. I highly recommend this guy for convenience and effective grilling!

I enjoy this grill and use it a lot. However, two matters merit attention: (1) the burner does not light up right away after the propane begins to flow; it takes a few seconds and a few clicks of the igniter, so when the burner comes on it flares up with a slight-to-medium shock; (2) in daylight, the flame is not easily visible under the metal plate above the burner, so it's not always easy to tell whether the flame is extinguished on continues burning.

Great little grill,
This is a great little grill, I have a 4 burner weber grill on the patio I keep this one in the garage when I get home at night and its raining or here in Michigan snowing I light my char broil 240 up for my wife and I and dinner is ready in a snap. it heats very quickly because of the size I can get 3 good size steaks on it 5-6 chicken legs along with a couple of chicken breasts for the kids if they stop by. let it cool down and park it back in the corner. the grate comes off for easy cleaning. Awesome grill.

I like the small size and even heat.
I've only owned the standard rectangular gas grills before. Uneven heat and grill grates that self destruct after years of use. Also the bulky side tables and side burner I never used. This grill will fit easily in a small space in my garage for Winter storage and I would assume the stainless steel grate will last for many years. This was well worth the cost.

Good small Grill for the right price!
This was a do it yourself assembly and not for the fait of heart. Took me about an hour to inventory all the parts which were complete. Only issue was a paint scape in the lid which I filed a claim for. Assembly took another hour with screwdriver, wrench, and pliers. Not too fiddly. Complete the BBQ was sturdy and seems well designed. When complete I seasoned the grill used it. Cooking is different on the Infa-Red which had shorter cooking times. I cooked chicken which came out notable moist and tender. I would recommend this BBQ to anyone who is limited on space.
