Panasonic eneloop AAA Batteries NiMH 800mAh (min. 750mAh) can be recharged when fully, or partially drained. They hold a charge longer than anything other brand on the market and have a high and very consistent power output. the newer Panasonic eneloopes have an even higher charge capacity and power output for those who have very high end electronic equipment that requires the best, but are just slightly more in price. You can recharge them about 2,100 times before they lose their fizz. environment-friendly which is reliable even when having cold temperatures (-20Degree C) as it is pre-charged with solar energy in Japan. they can be used in variety of things but they are not designed to work well in high drain equipment such as photo flashes or motors like found in soap dispensers. For that type of equipment, one should use either (eneloop pro) or (NiZn re-chargeables). I personally use them daily for long hours in my portable Sony Digital Voice Recorder and they work the best than other Rechargeable Batteries. I bought this (8x Panasonic eneloop AAA Batteries NiMH 800mAh (min. 750mAh) from eBay Seller: their price less than elsewhere and work great!! Panasonic is a Product manufactured in Japan.Read full review

The only batteries I recommend to everyone are the Eneloop whites (or blacks, depending on application). Amazing battery with a very good balance between capacity and self discharge. All eneloop whites that I have came with capacity above the minimum stated by the manufacturer, which is great. Normal rechargeable batteries have more capacity but self discharge at a high rate, rendering them useless (we need to keep recharging them) to use in low discharge electronics such as clocks, remotes, mouses and keyboards, etc. The eneloop whites, being AA or AAA, are amazing in this regard. They self discharge at a very low rate, and endure for years without recharging while powering low power equipments, which is very ecological and convenient. They are also very good in high consumption electronics, as their capacity is not too low at all. Make sure you use a good intelligent charger.Read full review

I used Kodak rechargeable batteries for several years; a friend of mine maybe 4 or 5 years ago recommended Eneloop as he's a prepper and used them for a while. I bought a set of AA and AAA batteries with a charger for my remotes, thermostats, and other gizmos at the time. No issues at all! I decided to pick up some more AAA's recently to replace the last of the Kodaks I was using. The Kodaks were fine but some were showing like the endcaps were expanding (probably due to age). I've had a few die over the years as well. The Eneloops are exceptional and I see myself using them for the foreseeable future. I see no wear in the one's I've been using already and they're holding up great.

I have used the triple A batteries before. The failure rate was not good. I would get about 60 percent of them to last very long. The double A’s were much better. I have not purchased triple A’s in a long time so maybe the technology has improved. Time will tell.

Eneloop AAA batteries are strong and hold their charge for years which is great for both seldom used devices and constantly used devices like TV remotes. I use a wireless air mouse for my home theater system that will eat up regular alkaline batteries rather quickly. These eneloop batteries last twice as long between charges. My digital camera may sit without being used for months. These eneloop batteries are always charged and ready for use when needed.
