If you have a 10 round Glock G26, this will adapt a 15 round G19 magazine to fit your 26. It effectively gives you a grip the size of a G19 and a barrel that is shorter than a G19 yet with a 15 round capacity. This product is a good answer. I have shot all the Glock models for years, including GSSF competition. My Glock of choice has always been the G19. Now my Glock of choice is a G26 with one of these adapters on a G19 magazine. Bottom Line Upfront. Well made, fit and finish are nice and it has a nice look to it. But I won’t be buying any more. 1. Does the product fit properly on my Glock 19 mags? YES 2. Is the product well made? Is the fit and finish GTG? YES 3. Does the X-Grip give me additional purchase on the shorter G26 grip? YES 4. Would I recommend this product? No. Unfortunately I can not recommend it to anyone who uses their Glock as an SD/HD weapon. And here’s why this product doesn’t work for me: If you own a Glock 26 you are probably buying this for two reason. 1) increased mag load. 2) better grip with an extended mag. The X-Grip does both of those very well, the problem is on my smaller frame G26. The X-Grip has a matte rubberized type of finish and when I try to do a mag change the rubberized X-Grip hangs on the bottom of my hand and doesn’t allow the mag to drop freely. I have to gank it hard or remove with my mag change hand that already is reaching for another mag. That’s why I don’t recommend this product. . I tested the X-Grip with a G17 mag in my G19 and 4/5 times it was not an issue, 1 out of 5 the mag would hang on the bottom part of my hand. So to reiterate, if you use your Glock as a SD/HD weapon, this could potentially hinder a smooth and quick mag change. It’s literally like the mag gets stuck in the mag well, when in fact it’s caught on my hand because the grip is short on the G26 and I have larger hands. in the pic you can see even with my fingers extending, the X-Grip still has contact with the base of my palm. I am going back to a Glock or Pierce +2 mag extensions and go that route. Will I ever need to do a rapid mag change in life or death? Probably not, but I believe in preparing for the possibility. All that said, if your Glock is a show & tell piece and it gets more Instagram time than it does range/training time, then I wouldn’t give it one iota of worry, buy them up because they really are a nicely made product. p.s. it’s probably by design the X-Grip is made like it is so you can get a good grip on the mag. However my mags drop free during my rapid mag changes and that’s where the issue for me is. During range time or any other time, I don’t have a problem pulling the mag out “manually”. So it’s just in that once scenario that it could present an issue.Read full review

I own two of these X-Grips. One for my Glock 19 using a Glock 17 magazine. It works fine and does what it is designed to do. Since the Glock 17 magazine only gives me one more round then the Glock 19 magazine with a +2 Pierce extension (I only add one additional round since it operates like it should with 16 rounds versus 17), was it worth it to buy a Glock 17 magazine and then add this to that magazine? Cost wise, no, at least for me. YMMV. Now let us talk about the other direction, do I recommend buying this to add to a Glock 19 magazine for use with my Glock 26? Whole heartedly, YES! Fits like a glove and have no issue with seating since I two part epoxy the X-Grip tightly to the base of the Glock 19 mag. No movement and no issues with seating the mag into the Glock 26. The pros are: Five extra rounds for the Glock 26 when using a Glock 19 mag (+X-Grip), feels natural in my hand versus buying a Glock 26 with +2 extensions* and adds just the right amount of extension to the Glock 26 to make it feel more like a Glock 19. This is my new bed stand handgun now since I have 15+1 rounds at my disposal and a second back up Glock 19 mag with a X-Grip ready if I need more. Although, if I can't stop the issue with the first 15+1, then I should just give up and go back to bed. :) Cons: I can't find any since like I said, I permanently attached the grip to a Glock 19 mag so I have no movement issues or seating problems. Works perfectly as designed. *Why I marked above the line concerning +2 Pierce Extensions. They work fine with the Glock 19 magazines and Taurus PT709 magazines by adding a extra round. Even the Glock Factory 12 round magazine works fine but at the same time, for the guns to work like they should without issues, I only add one additional round to the magazine for it to work flawlessly. Adding two makes a feeding problem on the first round and that is an issue I don't need in a self-defense scenario. +1 works great. Also, I bought the Glock 26 used and it came with two magazines that the prior owner had +2 extensions on them and because of he/she forcing two extra rounds in the magazine, the springs were weak and stretched the areas on the magazine where the magazine release held it in place on the handgun. This caused the Glock 26 magazines not to seat properly and showed damage to both magazines. The handgun worked great with my Glock 19 magazines and new replacement factory Glock 26 magazines. The Glock 26 magazines that came with the handgun were placed in File 13 and I have never had another issue with the gun since. When I carry the Glock 26, I have the factory 10+1 in the gun for concealability and then as a back up, the Glock 19 magazine with this X-Grip addition for a back up of 15 rounds. If you are looking to add better gripping area to your Glock 26 plus the additional rounds as back up (or trip to the gun range), then I would highly recommend this product as a attachment to your Glock 19 magazine to use with your Glock 26 handgun. I am glad I did.Read full review

The x grip is easy to install. Adding the x grip makes my Glock 26 have a full size grip and give me 15 plus one capacity. The fit is just OK. It may take a little modification to make it fit perfect. You will need to make the grip fit all the way down on the bottom or it could make seating the mag a little hard. Overall a great product at the right price.

Well made, easy to install and gives your compact Glock 26 more versatility. As a few reviewers have mentioned, it sometimes pinches your pinky finger when you fire a round. Now knowing this and experiencing it first hand, I try not having my pinky in the gap of the gun body and X grip and it’s fine. I did this after firing about 60 rounds, that’s when the slight pinching was noticeable. I used this with actual Glock factory magazines. I’ve read where certain aftermarket magazines may have issues and fit more loosely which creates a larger gap between the magazine and gun. Overall, excellent product!

Good product. Fits like a glove. It really makes the pistol easy to fire and aesthetically nice as well. Thinking about buying another one so they can stay on the mags. The only thing is the price...it's not too too expensive and serves somewhat as a purpose....but to buy multiple can get a little pricey. Other than that, I like the product.

Great Product. Smooth slide-on and offers great additional pinkie support for a G26. You really want to buy one for each clip that you're going to use all of that ends up getting expensive since mags are about 25 bucks and this is 15. Guess everybody has to make their own informed choice, however buying one at least is a must.

These work perfectly on full size M&P mags in order to make the Compact easy to shoot with 5 extra shots. This is the 2nd time ive bought them for my M&P Compact. they are a "must have" if you do any range shooting as the extentions give a great grip on the oversized 17 round mags.

I've had other makes of these conversion grips for Glock full-sized magazines, but they didn't work at all. The conversion grips were simply too long which meant that I couldn't insert the magazine. These X-Grips work perfectly; I've bought one for a 9mm and one for a .40 S&W. Good quality and they work exactly as described. I know the X-Grip works; I can't recommend any other brand.

Wow, I thought I was gonna be stuck with that awkward look the g26 has when you’re rocking a g19 mag and it hangs out the bottom but with this option it makes the g19 mag look like it was meant to be like this not to mention you can finally grip your whole hands around it. Also fits flawlessly in a subcompact polymer 80. You won’t be disappointed!
