I wasn’t about to spend $129 on a 2nd gen Apple Pencil when I already spent $99 on the 1st gen one. Caution - the new iPad 6th gen mini ONLY works with the 2nd gen Pencil. So I figured I’d try this. It’s great - snaps right on to charge, has color indicators for battery life (none of the Apple Pencils do), and even better, takes screenshots by double clicking the top part. Really cool especially since the screenshot controls are close together on the mini 6 and kind of hard to maneuver. What it doesn’t do, is the double shake/tap thing that the 2nd gen ApplePencil does to bring up the eraser, but, meh. The screenshot click thing is way more useful for me. Extremely good value for the money. I highly recommend. Full disclosure: I don’t sketch or draw, so I can’t speak for the more advanced Pencil functions versus this stylus. But it makes me happy and so far so very good 🙂Read full review

I got the pencil Sept 25th and it was fully functional. I had to buy new nibs because there were bits marks with the one that it came with but I didn’t have an issue with it. I was using it and it was great until Nov 11th the nib broke so I replaced it and it stopped writing. The pencil can still connect and the double tap function is operational but it cannot write. Comparing it to a newly brought pencil, the metal piece under the nib is a different metal than what Apple uses. I presume this is a result of it being repaired with 3rd party parts. It’s unfortunate that it’s use didn’t last. I think there’s more longevity in buying it brand new.

The only thing bad I can say about the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen. is the flat side where the double tap function is. With how I draw it is constantly rotating between my fingers, and this is annoying clearly because the double tap won't work if you're tapping somewhere other than the intended spot. I've had this with my iPad pro for a while now, and I had a lot of people tell me "drawing with this you will go through nibs constantly, and they are expensive." Well it's been over 6 months and the nib still looks brand new I have a four pack just laying in my desk waiting for the day I feel the need to change it out. Compared to my actual drawing tablet pens this is 10x better than anything aside from a high end Wacom pen. The feel, and way it responds is basically identical to using a regular pencil or ballpoint pen. Read full review

Apple products are very reliable. Apple Pencil gen2 are very robust. It works very well on iPad Pro 11”. The pen stores and charges on magnets on the side of the case, but they’re not indestructible. I knocked the pencil off and sat on it (I’m am a large guy), and it cracked by the tip which broke the connection so I had to buy another. This was a used pencil but you wouldn’t know it. It’s like brand new! I’m very happy to get one in such good condition and not having to pay full price.

Great product! Mine came in and it looked brand new. The only thing I would critique is the packaging, it came in box with only brown paper on top so it was just rolling around in the box. I would prefer bible wrap to minimize any potential scratching. Other than that great product and deal!!!

Works just like new and came in with the original box and some information about the refurbished items policy. I've been using it for a few days and no complaints! I wanted to upgrade to a new iPad and pencil and I didn't care if it was brand new, as long as it works. No scratches, clean, except didn't come with an extra tip but that's negligible.
