There's not a lot you can say about a simple part that should either work, or not. Truth is, it works great! One thing that you should know is that this ignitor also works in many, many models of Whirlpool and Maytag ranges as well. See the truth is that it is THE EXACT SAME PART. The GE/Hotpoint unit has two extra screw holes in a tab on the other side of the igniter that can be safely ignored when installing on a Maytag/Whirlpool range. Why is this important??? Because the GE/Hotpoint part is CHEAPER! It's the same part folks. Even the connector on the end of the cables is the same and you don't need to splice it on. Nice! Enjoy!
