My back never felt better not having to hall in the anchor anymore. If you don't have one I would highly reccommend getting one.
Works great in combination with a 30 lb. anchor. This unit is the real deal. It is heavy-duty and the motor is strong. I installed it myself in about 1 hour. The hardest part of the job was getting up the nerve to drill the first hole (and eventually 3 more) on the front of my boat. Suggestion: Read all the instructions carefully and then decide where you want it. Next, set it in carefully into position, double or triple check your clearances as the anchor travels up and down, measure everything three times and drill the hole. After the first hole you can't turn back so it gets easier.
