It's perfect...
For what I wanted, it's perfect. Took apart an old HP dv6000 and am using the screen to display primary flight gauges in my home built simpit. Great microcontroller that allows me to make use of my old LCD screens
This universal LCD controller board is great and works terrifically. It allows me to connect any device or devices with HDMI, VGA, or DVI to my old LCD monitor. I connected it to a Chi Mei N154I2 - L02 Rev. C1 LCD screen and it works great. Just make sure you tell them which LCD monitor model number you have when you order this controller. The only difficulty in using this product was in knowing which way to connect the main wire that connects to the LCD pins the controller as it depends on you LCD monitor and because the wire will connect both ways, even if you connect it wrong. I had to look up the spec sheet for my monitor and the spec sheet for this board to know which pin on the board goes to which pin on my LCD screen so I could connect them properly. For example, you need to know which pin gives power from the board and which pin receives power on your lcd board so you don't connect the wrong pins together from the wire. Also, it's great that this board has an audio connection, but it doesn't come with a speaker and it's difficult to find a way to connect a speaker to this 4 pin interface on the right side of the board. But if you don't care about that, then it is a great board for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
