this bag is so awesome compared to my old single compartment bag. My old bag sucked, no matter what you needed to grab, it had settled to the bottom corner & everything needs taken out to get to what your after, like your car keys at the end of a ride, buried at the bottom. This bag has more compartments, keeps everything in its place. Shallower left side I use for granola bars & a battery for my headlight. Right side larger pocket holds my spare shirt, tool bag, keys etc. Outside nets hold my earbud case and my phone. A d that's with room to spare & it not being expanded. Once expanded you can hold even more stuff.. water bladder, change of clothes etc. Comes with plenty of velcro fasteners. Zippers are nice & sturdy & smooth.
