This item is 1956-P Jefferson Nickel. It has very beautiful and natural fields with frosty-like tones as it came directly from Philadelphia Mint. It has a very higher-standard of coin. It would well fit into a top grade Jefferson Nickels Collection Set. Even I would say it's either MS-65 or MS-66 with nearly full steps. It has a very good money value and best investment due few are in Mint-State grades. I would recommend anyone to buy any 1956-P with higher-graded condition that has better money value, because it has low mintage.

These coins were not all Cho...ice/GEM BU coins !!! My thoughts, although I am not sure but I know that 'IN MY BOOK' NOT ALL of the coins were 'Choice/GEM BU', there is a strong suggestion that what I received was the 'residuals' of 'high-grading' from a number of rolls of same dates. I liked 8 enough to say OK, choice/Gem BU, but from there on they are NOT CHOICE/GEM BU!!! I checked 3 stars and then tried to go back to 2 stars, but the system stinks (because you can't correct your initial star-checking). My grading of the 40 coined roll I received is as follows: 8 - Good, 12 - OK, 6 fair(?), 8 - poor(??), 6 - BAD/"X"(junk).

As a Pf69 1956 Jefferson it takes special... equipment to see why it isn’t a 70. Great coin.
