Procare Ankle Support
The Dr said I could use the Procare ankle (a less intense ankle support) 6 weeks after surgery, after being quoted $200+ for a replacement (Insurance deductibles not met) I was skeptical on price. This is after I found out they wanted $390 for the Donjoy full stabilization ankle brake. (Mine wore out and needed new Velcro straps) I ultimately found a repair kit online for $12 that got me the two more weeks needed until I bought the Procare brace. I felt I needed to write this review so others can save also. This is the exact same product and works very well, it fits in my work boots (Mid height) and with orthotics insoles (not custom, off the shelf) it is pretty comfortable.
