This is exactly what my 1985 Ford E350 class 2 motor home w/460 needed. Starts right up on 1st Turn of ignition. Used 1/4" rubber gasket between mount bracket and frame. I love it! 1985 resurrection! Fyi- I added a 90 degree on "in" prevent kink in fuel line from fuel filter. Changed 1/2" fittings it came with to 3/8".. Easy peasy..

I have bought some Carter electric fuel pumps in the past with great success. This one I just bought is defective. It occasionally fails and is unreliable, as the car died in a parade and again on my way home.

I installed it yesterday was a pretty simple install appears to work excellent. Alot less expensive than a fass or ppe pump. Came with 1/2" fitting which was nice. I put a heavier ground wire on it and ran a heavier power wire to it. I also installed a relay on the firewall all in all it works really well with my efi live. I'm going to buy another one for a spare because it will really be easy to change out if I have a failure.

Flow capacity is on the dot. Using the pump in a siphon set-up, I was able to transfer 9 gallons of gasoline in 5m40sec . The only down issue is the I had to fit 1/2" hose to the pump's inlet and outlet, contrary to what the manufacturer recommends whic is 1/4" hose.

This fuel pump is not to loud especially with the optional mount insulators, it also has good volume and the price with quality is untouchable.

Worked great as a lift pump on my Duramax LML. Not too loud and a fraction of the price of Airdog or Fass.
