I received these and attached my fenders to them. The first time I put the clamp over the rail and dropped my fender down the clamp came off the railing and into the water. Looks like a good idear but have to figure a way to keep the clamp hooked to the railing when the boat rocks up and down at the dock. Not sure if I would recommend, am thinking of replacing before I loose a fender.
