At first I found it had the old firmware. Once I updated the firmware and added my callsign, it came alive. It turns out to be newer than the first Icom IC-7300 transceiver I brought new. I believe the receiver is also a little better. Now I have 2 Icom IC-7300's, one for the QTH and the other for the mobile and portable use. Bought at a good price and I was able to pickup local, so I didn't have to worry about shipping. Excellent buy. Very Satisfied.
