The process is a bit obscure, but it is possible to use this 64GB microSDXC card with the Raspbian OS and have 50GB of file space available. This card also makes a big difference in performance, perhaps because of its A2 designation. The details are unknown to me, but I understand that features such as command queuing are helpful in running a heavily randomized load (such as an OS) rather than a sequential load (such as video recording). In any case, this card exceeds Raspbian's required benchmark performance by 20% to 50%; the no-name card I had been using ran about 30% too slow. If only I could find a card with both the A2 and "Endurance" designations. Thus would my joy be complete.
