Great buy to upgrade your nagant
Was in atv accident on Jan 15 so all I had was time I went with this stock because it had great style and the fit for the mosin nagant parts was very little modification it’s a great upgrade if you want to build a budget sniper gun I added a Timney trigger custom built scope mount tank style muzzle brake and bent bolt making it a nice all around gun being a machinist for 26 years doesn’t hurt either

Very few options on the market for a mosin stock. It's a snug fit to my Chinese varient . Unfortunately, the 2-10rnd mags that I have for it fall out on the first shot, and the bullets fall out of the mag because the retaining clip on the mag is weak. The spring is also weak, had issues feeding. I haven't contacted promag yet. Not as impressed with function as I should be for the price. Great buy nice stock for your Mosin .
I love the stock and the way it fits makes my Mosin looks great .. I'm not to sure about the Mag I don't like the way it fits could be a better design keeps push one shell out when install .. Maybe the ten round mag is different not sure have not tryed.. Other than that great buy and all around great deal looks great fits great with little or no change to stock or rifle .. The only thing I would look into is the Mag Design !! May just be mine have not ask but will ask as I am a Friend with the Mosin club here..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Decent stock, but the best option.
Made of a decent polymer construction, needed a lot of help to get into place. The barrel is a little wobbly when I shake the gun, but overall it is fine. Came with a 5 round mag, which works ok but has issues with the rounds ejecting and seating. I have not shot it yet so I hope it will be fixed by then.

really nice stock, very durable and looks great with my mosin. only issue is I wish it was inleted for a modified bolt handle. did it myself but it made me nervous. Otherwise, awsome stock makes me feel like a little kid holding it and it works great. Also works really well with a Timney trigger. Easy to use, straightforward upgrade for a Mosin
I have two Mosin Nagant rifles in my collection, a 91/30 and M44. My M44 has definitely seen some action since it's manufacture in 1944, so I decided it was time to revitalize this wonderful rifle. The Archangel Tactical stock is great because of it's straight forward installation (I'm far from a gunsmith but am mechanically inclined) - honestly the hardest part was getting the metal bands off of the old stock and barrel! Installed within ~20 minutes, no tooling required. I got a couple of 10 round mags to go with it - definitely a worthwhile buy as well. Between the increased capacity, new stock, and a little TLC on the bolt my M44 now cycles smooth as butter, is more accurate, doesn't leave unsightly bruises for a week after shooting, and looks like it belongs in the 21st century. I really enjoy the adjustable butt and face rest - getting it more ergonomic likely increased my accuracy more than anything else!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent Alternative
The Archangel stock is only one of several ways one may enhance the appearance and performance of a Mosin Nagant. I my case, it was a great choice. I had a later model Mosin that had force-matched serial numbers and a so-so stock, no extras with it like they usually come with. No bayonet, no sling, no cleaning kit, etc. Just the firearm itself.. A perfect candidate for an upgrade. I saw this version of the Archangel stock available which had an upgraded magazine and went for it. They typically come with a 5-round mag but this version came with a 10-round. As I already had a few more 10-round mags, purchased separately, this was a natural fit to the project. Moving the receiver and barrel to the Archangel was a breeze. I had purchased an upgraded trigger group from another source so when I was ready for this project, it was all really straightforward. I didn't have to make any modifications to the stock whatsoever. 20 minutes, start-to-finish and it was ready for the range. There ARE a couple of individuals on eBay that will work on the bolt for the Mosin and provide you with one that has a bent handle such that some form of optical sighting may be installed on your firearms.. I recommend that also, along with the rail system for mounting optional gear (sights, flashlight, laser, etc.) to the rifle.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Awesome looking stock!
This stock looks simply great. The assembly was quick and easy to do. However I suggest the timney trigger. Otherwise you may have to remove material from the trigger guard since Mosins have such long, heavy pulls. But all in all a great stock with amazing features.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Old rifle looks new & mean !!
This stock will really transform your Mosin Nagant model 91/30 ! It looks great and it is functional and not just for looks. The optional 10 round magazine makes for more play time. Looks like something a full fledged sniper would carry ! Perfect fit and installation was a breeze!
