Carlson Extra-tall Walk Through Pet Gate
I really like this pet gate. I'm tall, so I needed one tall enough that I don't have to stoop to unlatch it. The latch, which on the tall model comes to about the hip of a 6' 4" man, is easy to use, even one-handed, and the opening, while not large, is wide enough to get through. The tall feature is also great for dogs who would normally sail over a standard-height gate, although MY dogs are way too mannerly to do such a thing (haha). I was a little nervous about how my cats would react to the small gate at the bottom. I had a standard expanding baby gate up between the living room and the kitchen, but one of my cats is an elderly granny-cat who was having difficulties jumping over it, and the younger one is a big-boned Maine Coon male who would knock it down when he was too lazy to go over it. To my surprise, both cats took to the small gate in the larger one as if they had been waiting for me to get it all along! I did have to secure the small gate with a couple of zip-ties to keep it open, as it has a tendency to swing shut when you open the larger gate. The tall pet gate is lightweight but sturdy, and the pressure mounts really hold it in place. Installation is simple, and it looks good. If you have a child that this is primarily for, I'd recommend using the mounting cups that come with it when installing, as they add additional security to keep it in place.Read full review

Quality, durable item. 12 week old puppy was an escape artist and now he's secured. Easy assembly and chew proof. The little puppy door is great when i want to slip his leash around his neck while he exits the puppy gate. The slats appear large in the photo. However, they are wide enough that puppy cant slip through. This gate makes entering his space a breeze when it's time for cleanup. Best purchase i could have made for our family.
