This carb is just what I was looking for... something slightly bigger than the 600 CFM, but did not need the 750 for the street. I also am impressed with new Air Valve Secondary control over the vacuum control.... No need to guess if or when the secondaries will kick in... Don't get me wrong, vacuum secondaries are great too, but just wanted to try out the new design. This is going on an Early series 302 SBF with performance aluminum heads, roller rockers, mid-rize aluminum manifold, 113 cam, and expecting between 350-375 HP. I was going for lower torque moving my '49 Mercury (3500 lb) down the road with ease. Happy Motoring my friends.

Haven't test it, but it came with no manual book to calibrate it, no wiring for electric choke, no gaskets and they don't have returns or exchanges, for the price I paid with taxes could get another one new with all included and a warranty, I made a bid and a the end I noticed they charge the highest bid and no one just me where bidding, I paid $313. 00 at the end, hope works ok at least

These carbs get a bad rap, but I love them. They're much easier to tune, jet, and dial in, than a Holley is. Plus, you dont need to drill out holes or spill/ drain the fuel, in order to changes jets... But you must do that with Holley's. You definitely need to keep pressure below 6psi, so a regulator is a must. I put one on a Corvette and another on a GTO, and both responded very well to these carbs. After the first Edelbrock carb, I did try to order a Holley 750 Double Pumper for my car. It took several weeks to get, because all of the Holley parts are now foreign made. $700 for a foreign made carb? When it finally arrived, the throttle blade shaft was bent, right out of the box.

Great carb , was a lil rich out of the box so I bought a tuning kit and haven't received it yet but from what I've found out since it's close changing a spring maybe all I need and if that doesn't do it go down one size on main jet but it works great out of the box

I haven't fired my motor up yet but the appearance of the carburetor really looks good setting on a Eldebrock performer intake manifold. Having gone from 3 deuces on my street rod, this carburetor looks a whole lot easier to work with. This carburetor also came with an instruction cd and a manual that is really helpful to set up and maintain if needed.

Love this carb!! Once piece bowl with only 1 gasket that is above fuel level is very nice design!! Unlike holly and others. Nice big adjustment screws that can be reached easy with normal screwdriver. In my case the electric choke was set up perfect, no adjustment needed except the high idle setting. The car runs great! And I love the mechanical secondarys. I used the carb on a stock 1963 Mercury 330 hp 390. It bolted right up to the manifold and the throttle linkage lined up perfect. I did not even have to adjust it, or the kickdown linkage. One pump of the gas pedal, hold it half throttle and turn the key! It fires right off, almost like EFI! For the money, the best carb out there in my opinion. Unlike my experiences with holly carbs, this one is set it and forget it!! I was continuously having to re-adjust the air/fuel mixture on both hollys I have owned.Read full review
