Great upgrade for vintage train layout
The Lionel6-22983 180 watt Powerhouse Power Supply EX pair was a great addition to our vintage trains set. The locomotives I thought needed service and refurbishment ran very well, and were able to pull several car trains with ease. I am very impressed and satisfied with this upgrade to our equipment. In addition, they provided the capability to power a lot of accessories and layout lighting. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Lionel PH180 - Good Product
Plenty of power and compatible with modern electronics. Replaces 2 Lionel Type LW transformers with power to spare. Very fast acting circuit breakers. When buying used make sure the power indicator light works as replacement requires a special tool. Early models are out of phase with other power sources; simple fix if you are aware of it.
