I am a casual computer user. I thought this machine might make a “back up” machine. First, the is the cleanest used computer that I have ever seen and you cant clean them with water on the inside. I don't think it was ever tuned on. I assume that some accountant, somewhere, is taking this as a tax loss. This particular machine required some “fiddling” to get the sound card to work. I did not consult the Dell web site. I assume the seller does not have time to get working correctly because the of the differences between machines. He probably gets a good deal from the boss (Microsoft) if he loads up Windows. You get no documentation from Dell so hope the Windows install does it correctly. The machine that I purchased has a video card with a small fan. This I don't remember as part of the purchase description. This card should be faster than the on-board video card. Screens are redrawn very quickly. I don't know if this is standard. This computer has four expansion slots for memory for 32gig. There are a lot of USB slots if that is your thing. Me, I use a USB hub to keep clutter away from the computer. You can use hardwired mouse and keyboard if security is important. It is very silent. There is an optional cooling fan in the rear. If you are not a gamer, this is an unbelievable purchase. I believe Microsoft is involved, but that is another story. Read full review
