Great camera that addressed the few shortcomings of the PMW-EX1R. Little speaker by your ear allows audio monitoring without having to dig through your bag for headphones or ear buds, an effective slide-out shoulder rest with a fold-out extension, a very adjustable viewfinder/monitor, and higher bit-rates with 4:2:2 color space. The video noise level is very low, even when gaining up to 12db. Picture quality has somewhat of a DSLR look to it, not definite video look like the EX1R. My one big wish would be to over ride the onboard stereo mic with XLR, 1/4" TRS, or even 1/8" inputs. Seems like a waste of 2 channels.All in all, it is a great step up from the EX1R or EX3.
