Theodosia and her employees at the Indigo Tea Shop, are asked to host tea at the Annual Historic Homes & Garden Party. The beautiful event is marred by a guest who is found dead with a cup of tea still in his hands. When poison is found in his teacup all does not fair well for Theo. She is worried that she may begin to lose customers who think she or her employees had anything to do with the poisoning. Unsatisfied by the investigations of the local police, Theo begins her own, and in the process she puts herself in grave danger. Charleston is a beautiful setting for this murder and so as you follow along with Theodosia's sleuthing, you are treated to facts about the history and culture of not only the city but of the world of tea. There are always wonderful recipes in the back of the book that Haley, Theo's wonderful chef has invented to serve to Theo's many thristy and hungry tea shop customers.Read full review
