Not many people have found their way to playing the Classic Gam...eboy Mega Man series but, this one is the hardest one to get of the classic gb series. Mega Man games before Mega Man 5 on Game Boy featured four Robot Masters from their titular NES counterpart, as well as four Robot Masters from the sequel to the game's NES counterpart (in other words, Mega Man II on the Game Boy contained four Robot Masters from the NES's Mega Man 2, as well as four Robot Masters from the NES's Mega Man 3). Mega Man V however featured new and original enemy characters referred to as Star Droids. Mega Man has also upgraded his main weapon. Instead of a charged buster shot, he now uses a charged shooting fist, a totally different concept and its hard adjusting to the shooting fist. Thats the only real big change gameplay wise, other than that it plays just like a normal Mega Man game. Mega Man V also has Super Gameboy support which allows the game played with a special color scheme and custom background. All in all this is a pretty good game, and a must have for collectors. If you have a chance to get this game, then you better get it while you've got the opportunity.
This game is a very cool collector's item. Its kinda hard on the DS... (I have a DSi) but its fun to play on the original gameboy color. It has become a collector's item so you would be lucky to own one!! It is a very neat item and you won't be disappointed!
I own all the Mega Man games for Game Boy. With e...ach sequel, the MM games get better. So naturally, MM V is the best one. It has the best music, graphics, and story. I highly recommend it to any Mega Man or Game Boy fan.
