Oh, lord ..
This thing is SWEET! Having recently purchased a 30 watt tube head and 4 X 12 cabinet, I knew I would have to get some type of power attenuator/ soak to get the best tone from the amp. Much cheaper than getting exams and hearing aids for me, my , girlfriend, and 2 cats. I'd finally decided to try the little black amp box. I'm incredibly glad I did. I can now get a wonderfully creamy tone at a very low volume if necessary. As long as you have a passive effects loop, you're in the (low) volume-dealing business. Your special lady friend, and cats/ dogs, will love you for it!
