The best part is the display. It is clear and in green so it is easy on your eyes. The clock was preset and will never have to be set manually again. It has brains & will know when we go back & forth from EST to DST. The clock has a dimmer so the display will not disturb you when you sleep. The radio is very clear and easy to listen to. I had my other clock radio for over 20 years. It was good while it lasted, but it was so big & difficult to set. This one is very simple to set.

FM radio reception was less than what I expected. My older analog radio had better reception. Sound quality was not as good either. Those being said, the clock was nice and it auto adjusted itself to the time zone. The FM radio has digital tuning and has memory to store your favorite stations which were very nice features.

I ordered 2 Emerson Radios. One works fine and I have the full range of volume, and the other radio has only limited volume, even with the volume setting on full. I am not sure if the radio with the volume issue is a used item, but I would like either another brand new radio to replace it, or credit my PayPal account for the cost of one (1) radio.

We have been looking for a new clock radio for a while. I have looked in stores and haven't found one that's the right size, has the right digital display, etc. This one is perfect. The digital display is visible all over the bedroom. The other thing is that this radio resets itself after a power outage! That's awesome! And it resets itself for daylight savings time, so every time the time changes (spring and fall), so we don't have to manually set it twice a year. I am so pleased that we bought this.
