I've been shaving with electric shavers for as long as I can remember. Recently I wanted to try a blade razor. I looked at reviews and picked the Schick Hydro. First i'm trying the disposables and next I will try the non disposable razor with disposable blades that the disposables don't have.I also like the "Trimmer" ability. Simple and it really works. Much better than my shaver's trimmer. I don't have a lot of experience but I can tell you they give me a cleaner closer shave. I have not mastered the tricky spots and so sometimes I use my electric to do some "Edging" . As I become more proficient that should change. I was getting lots of skin irritation and ingrown beard hairs with my electric shavers. Now, not at all actually. That in itself is a great reason to switch for me and was the reason I even decided to switch. To see if I could stop those two problems.Read full review

Great price for an ok razor. Too new to tell how they hold up, I usually buy generic 5 blades when on sale at a drug store. Gave these a try for convenience.

I'm a bald black man in my 40s and these blades work the best for a close shave on my face and head without slicing and bumping up my skin. One razor lasts me about a month (8 to 10 shaves).

This is great. I get a good deal on razors and I don't have to go to Walmart. Deal of the century.
