The basket was very easy to put onto the walker and it has become invaluable to my 90 y/o mother. Only 2 things: one, since the basket sticks out in front it makes it more difficult to get close to things like the stove and the sink. Two, the wires that attach it to the sides of the walker are not quite shaped like the walker and therefore don't attach perfectly -- but they still hold the basket in place. I think with some effort they can be shaped to fit perfectly... in any case, the basket works great for mom!

Had a Drive basket B/4 and came with Hard plastic insert which had 3 compartments,1 for drink,1for phone, and middle for whatever. The new Drive basket comes with a CHEAP light weight insert that has 1 compartment for drink ( which will most likely not last a week) and then the rest open. Since the basket works well prepare yourself for having a big open area to carry stuff ; might consider a cardboard box insert.

Limited basket capacity, and stock plastic food carrying insert is flimsy (a heavier gauge insert is available elsewhere ) BUT overall an excellent item. Fits the Drive 1" tubing walkers well, is quickly removable. It will hold enough weight to actually overbalance/tip-over a free-standing walker and, say, 10 pounds in it, significantly changes the walker's handling characteristics - these are not a "bad" facts/flaws per se, but are something the user needs to be aware of when using.

Weight in basket upsets walker. Drill a 1/4" hole sideways @ top of added tennis ball on back 2 legs. Wrap 2 layers of electric tape above bolt hole. Farm stores sell steel washers with 1.125 center hole. Get 8 lb. @ under $2 lb. Put washers on back 2 legs. Washers lay on bolt. Pull on end of walker to standup. Cut washcloth in half, Wrap around handles, Hold with 11" plastic cable ties.

I purchased this for my mother, so she could transport her coffee, newspaper, phone, etc. The only thing I would say is that they need to definitely improve on the lower clips, which attach to the sides of the walker. As someone else also pointed this out on the reviews, I improvised and tightened them with 'tie' fasteners.
