i have 3 sensors outside and 2 receivers inside. one receiver is set at low volume at all times to alert me at night, the other one is high vol and i turn it on and off once a day. this system is the best out there reguarding false alarms. each sensor can be set to a different sensitivity using the dip switches, lowest setting says 11 feet, highest is 40 ft, but i can get it to trigger at 60ft. and lowest at 25ft. so i use the lowest setting on all. works good. theres night and day settings as well as assigning diffrent sounds per each sensor. i rarely have false alarms, just an cat or bird sometimes. ps: rain makes all the sensors twice as sensitive so my range seems to double during rain or wet pavement. the sensor has a very narrow beam by design. so i need 2 sensors for my driveway to cover the whole area. havent had to change the batterys yet after 6 months. the external 12v trigger relay function does work as expected and sometimes i use it to control a light switch when the device is triggered by motion. all set by dip switches--in the manual.Read full review

I added a second sensor because my first one worked so well. Setting it up was easier that the first, because I had learned how the first time. The second sensor alerts when someone is near my mailbox, like the mailman. The first one alerts when someone is driving up my driveway. Due to their locations, one sensor did not cover both. Separate tones alert for separate purposes. Pretty good setup.

This thing syncs ok but it seems to false frequently. To the best of my understanding there is no sensitivity control for the sensor. It is either on or off. Overall it seems to function, just the frequency of false alarms. I have not checked the distance of the system. I would probably buy this again.

Great product. Used at our driveway gate to be alerted who’s coming and going. Also installed at vulnerable area along fence line for trespassers.
