So far it has met my expectations. The battery that came with the player, the casing had cracked open, and I couldn't charge it anymore. it would work with the ac adaptor but I wasn't sure how safe that was and decided to look for an affordable replacement. I found this one for a great price and the picture looked like what I needed (and it was). I am very happy with my purchase.
