    MC-50 Tested Microphone Failure

    This particular MC-50 consistently gave unintelligible audio. Several persons stated that the audio was very distorted and the microphone kept tripping the circuit my amplifier; however, the microphone that came with the radio had excellent audio. I consider this a complete waste of $100.00

    Just what I wanted

    Good mic for old Kenwoods

    I bought this to mate up with my "new" Kenwood TS-520SE rig. I believe it is period correct for the radio and it hooked right up. Very stable on the bench and everybody says the audio is fantastic so I guess it's doing the job.
