Bought the left-handed version of the AD-60 right here on this site nearly a year ago to this day and couldn't be happier with it. Only two things I would immediately change on mine and those are the stock plastic bridge pins (I prefer either Tusq or a custom-made unbleached bone set, quiet as kept) and phosphor bronze strings that came with it (read that 80/20s are much more suited for this model especially). Other than that, this is pretty much the only acoustic dreadnought I'll ever need. Build quality is about what you'd expect from the Alvarez brand these days: TOP-NOTCH. Can't beat the price, either! ;-) Sidenote: Alvarez DC1 case I also highly recommend for this model.

AD60 has a warm sound, it has a great tone. Its good enough for me. I like the sound of this AD60 on a D’Addario ej11 80/20 & elixer nanoweb 80/20. Dont like the sound of D’addario nickle bronze “its dull” to my ears. It comes with EXP strings from store. I dont know what kind of EXP no label. I will soon try the ej16 or EXP16. EJ11 80/20 sounds great on this AD60.
