I don't know how it's possible, but it looks a lot like a brand new Mopar starter.
I'm not naive, and for the low price I was expecting a refurbished starter at best. Upon very close examination, the item that I received appears to be a brand new, genuine Mopar starter. There are no marks on the gear (which would appear after a single day of use), the look and branding are matching my original Mopar starter perfectly. Installed and works perfectly.
