I only gave it three stars because the one i ordered did not work and i sent it back and ordered another one that works perfect. The Schumacher BT-100 That I ordered off ebay did not work at all. I sent it back and received a complete refund. I have nothing bad to say about the Schumacher battery tester. I have used and bought many other things made by that company to include battery chargers and test equipment and they all work perfect; some more than 30 years. One bad tester does not make them all bad. I ordered another one and it works just fine.

I have only used it twice so far, but it definitely works! I like that it has instructions printed right on the unit for the basic tests you can perform with it like the starter test is probably not knowledge a weekend mechanic is going to remember the chart for a once every 3 year test but It is handy It has a quick reference. The cables aren't as soft/ flexible as an OTC and the body is a little less ergonomic but It is definitely more than enough tool for the weekend mechanic without spending the big $ on an OTC, Snap on ect
