Great product that works great and is well built. It has 3 charging options .5 Amp, 1 Amp, or 2 Amp. It has a nice readable display that is informative. It has 2 input power options a USB cord or the transformer that plugs into the wall with a female connection cord. It can also be used as a power bank by leaving the batteries in and using the USB output slot to attach any item that can be charged by USB cord. Definitely a great value for the money and will buy again and may buy a 4 slot one soon.

26650 Battery Charger It is supposed to charge 4 each 26650 but it will only fit one in slot one and skip slot two and installed another in slot three and leave slot 4 blank. I already have a Nitecore two cell charger that fits two cells perfectly. So why doesn't a four cell charger hold four cells or batteries. A waste of good monies on another worthless charger.

This charger is a nice step up from the previous Nitecore i2 charger that has served me for a decade. Some notable features include dt/dv charging for Alkaline batteries. This allows the standard AA, AAA batteries to be fully charged instead of stoping at immediately at the peak voltage. The screen is nice and helps with giving a view on the health of the batteries such as making sure they are being drained equally and not being drained too much (Li-ion). D(4) has four charging slots and will divide 1500 mAh charge between how many are being used. 2 slots used = 750 mAh per cell and so on. It will automatically pick the correct charging method but I noticed bad Alkaline cells will make it choose the wrong one ( no safety issues, just a good indicator that your cell is going/gone bad).Read full review

I bought one of these in 1916, it finally died, bought it again. This is great if you work with diverse types of batteries. I used NiMH, Nicad, and different size Lion batteries and they all charge at the same time properly in any slot. This is a great charger if you have that need,

The D4 is an excellent charger. It helps make sure that you're getting the maximum charge, overall battery lifespan, and efficiency from all your batteries. It's especially good for extending the life of older or marginal cells. Occasionally it will "reject" a cell once it's gone bad, either due to age, or because it was discharged below the voltage it should have been, and it's tempting to try to resurrect the abused or damaged cell, but ultimately, this is a safety feature and shouldn't really be ignore. If you are careful about discharging older NiCd cells in a controlled fashion, you can use this charger to "cycle" the cells and help extend the life of the batteries. I've used this for AAA, AA, D, 16850, and 1/3AA batteries. (For the 1/3 cell size, they barely want to stay in place since the contacts provide almost no spring pressure at that point. I've actually shimmed the contacts with a dime or a penny in some cases just to keep the battery from falling out!) A feature I really like that isn't talked about much: This model has a 12V DC input. That means you can build/buy a cable that you can use to run this charger off your car. In my case, I use this charger at a site that only has solar power, and so I simply run it off one of the site's 12V batteries. It's very simple.Read full review
