The device connects through USB 3.0 interface and has a spindle speed of 5400 RPM, ensuring efficient operation. The Western Digital hard drive's dimensions are 0.82 inch height, 3.2 inch width, 4.4 inch depth, and its weight is 0.51 lbs.
I bought the 500GB xbox one and it was simply too small of an amount of storage. This HDD hides well and matches the xbox one very well. Its quiet, and I dont notice it. One thing that does bother me is the extremely bright LED indicator. It can light up a bedroom, yikes. This can be easily fixed with some tape, but that detracts from its appearance. Overall a great product and i'm happy with my purchase
fast and silent, but its lost everything on it twice now for no real reason it would appear. i wouldnt get this brand again, or at least off ebay again.
I am a professional photographer shooting a lot of real estate and commercial plants daily. I use this external hard drive to keep all the photos off of my computer which would slow it down eventually.
Lightweight, fits in your shirt pocket, and it has preformed well over the past year. I will purchase another soon.
My portable WD Elements USB 3.0 drive is working great with the StarTech 2 Port ExpressCard SuperSpeed USB 3.0 card. I have them currently connected to a Lenovo T420. So far, after a few months of use, I have not been disappointed. If you plan on a similar setup, just make sure the USB card is pushed all the way in the slot. There has been numerous complaints about it coming out. I can see that if it is moved a lot. Fortunately, I keep mine on my desk without a lot of mobility. As for the WD drive itself, it's quiet, definitely faster than my USB 2.0 drive and much smaller. For me, it's 5 stars since I don't have any complaints and it works extremely well.
