This is a great, cheap, diecast that has satisfying detail. Because this is one of Maisto's older castings, it has a lot of engine detail, such as wires, headers, ect (similar to other old maistos like the Jag XJ220 and Lambo Diablo SV). interior detail is also very good and shows gauges, seatbelts, and a sticker for the CLK GTR seat design. The rear engine cover also comes completely off, like the actual car, to show the engine, chassis tubes, and working suspension. One problem with this and other low end diecast cars is the way the rear engine cover fits. because it is a mass produced, lower end diecast, the rear hatch doesn't seal perfectly against the rest of the body. The gap is nothing to distracting, but its not perfect. Overall, the CLK GTR is one of Maisto's better cars.
