For the price, you get a very stable, portable, and stylish stand just for tablets. The weight and stiffness tell me there won't be anymore wobbling when my tablet stands here. The stand and its moving parts feel stiff and well-built. Unfortunately, I may have played with each movable part a bit too much, letting them loosen over time: about 3 months. But it's not uncontrollably loose, and there still aren't any signs of breaking until now. With my Galaxy Tab A, there's easily no issue keeping it stable on this stand, whether in display or kickstand mode. On some uneven surfaces, the kickstand provides better stability than laying the tablet flat. But since Android offers split keyboard apps, I don't need the kickstand mode often. Yet it can be used for a bit of writing or drawing, especially if you tuck away the smaller legs. I also love that the matte aluminum matches the matte plastic back of my tablet. I love folding this to take with my tablet wherever I go (in the house), and it's so compact it doesn't take much space in the sling bag. And thanks to how small my tablet is, I found a fun way to lug it around the house. The combined weight may be heavier than any 10-inch tablet, but I found a grip that's secure enough without having to tuck away the stand. Great iPad stand for viewing movies in landscape if you're sitting at a desk, not so much if you're lying down as the view is further and not dead-on. If you're propping it up to sketch and write with the Pencil, also good. I have an iPad Pro 10.5 - I wish that the legs would prop wider for more stability when swiping through screens or using Slide Over. The iPad sometimes falls off the stand when I use Slide Over. For the price, it's made well, solid and heavy. I would not have paid retail $50 for this.
