Bought this stand because it was reasonable, about the same price as folding stand, and it has all three piano pedals. The wiring for the pedals uses a 5 pin 2.5mm spacing connector, not the standard 1/4" mono phono plugs. I have a Casio PL-40R, not a Alesis Coda, but I figured I could modify it easily. The stand has a black pebbled laminated finish on HDF, not wood grain as the ad claims. Still it looks very nice for the price, and is reasonably heavy. Now to the modification for my Casio. 1. Cut 1-1/8" off each end of the cross member, re-drilled pocked holes for mounting screws. Had to remove pedal assembly to do this. 2. Cut angled tops of of uprights. These were designed to fit the Alesis Coda, so they didn't fit my Casio. 3. Glued 3/4" x 9-5/8" x 1/8' thick spacers on top of the uprights, to fit the Casio, and keep it from moving. 4. Glued black felt around the spacers on top of the uprights. 5. Moved the brackets on the uprights to match the screw holes in the Casio. The supplied screws were too short for mounting the Casio, so I got some 6mm x 1mm x 25mm screws to mount the Casio. Result, Casio PL-40R fits great and the stand looks nice. I still need to wire pedals to the 1/4 phono plugs for the Casio. The stand is very stable on carpet and I am happy with the purchase. I will probably add a brace in back under the Casio, for routing cables, not really needed for stability.Read full review

This stand is short. It is well made, but we received and obvious returned item. We purchased new but received a returned slightly used item. Not happy about that. The stand will need legs to raise it 3 inches. We adapted it with new brackets to fit the Alesia recital pro, which it is not made for. The pedals will need to be lowered off the back board once the stand is raised. The wood and overall quality of the stand is actually quite nice. The short height would be good for children.

It's a nice size but to big for the piano to be bolt on to stay in place and can't find an universal connector to hook the 3 paddles to the piano. 3 paddles have a phone like cord to plug in piano has a round prong hole for hook up.

If you have the Alesis Coda, or Coda Pro, you need this stand. Its strong, looks great, has 3 pedals, its the correct height (despite what other reviewers have said).
