In the end it looks fine. But building it....there is a video on line showing someone building it. You'll need it because the instructions are, to say the least, not complete and the pieces fitting together are not at all obvious. The illustrations are poor at least for N Scale. Recommend great patience as in glue two pieces together and then wait a day until they are as solid as possible. The connecting points are tenuous for a number of steps. And know that the parts are bright orange, not yellow like in the cover picture. It holds acrylic paint with no problem.

I was a bit reluctant to buy this because I never bought a Walthers product before and frankly some kits just don't build well if you are a novice. This kit was very easy to build and nicely detailed. Plus it accepted paint well. One thing I must mention is the walls and roof are a bit thinner than other kits so before you assemble make sure you spray the inside of the walls with a dark paint that won't allow the lights to show through. The supplied interior pics are great but they do require a lot of light to look as best as possible. I used 3 Woodland bright lights and may add a 4th. The rear of the building features a fire escape and drain pipes in nice detail. The included base already has a great looking sidewalk that saved me a lot of time.
