Very good product provided that you use a decent well built manual caulking gun or a battery operated one even better. Product needs to be warmed up for a while before usage because of it being a thick high viscosity sealant. It is a non -primer type sealant, no need for primer to be applied to the pinch weld area for a good adhesion to window. It can be used for window installs and other non- window uses also. Great product! Thanks DOW chemical, priced just right.

Good product, good value. When using this product, it works best if heated. Otherwise it is very thick and the glass will not settle to the proper level to install the window trim. Have a good caulking gun. You may have to modify your caulking gun to accept the large nozzle on this tube.

I broke one cheap brand new caulk gun and bent a 2nd. Know that u need to drive down and get a heavy duty caulk gun and take the plastic tip with u so u can make sure it fits. (Bending the first caulk guns to get the tip in is what lead to them failing. Also I had bent the outer casing if the glue to get it into the 2nd gun) Then when u get home, open your car hood and place the glue in there to warm up for 10-15 minutes. Cold glue caused the first two caulk guns to break/bend. The glue would not come out! Used a heat gun and started to get a little. Then on the 2nd gun when i was squeezing it the glue blew out the back of the tube all over the caulk gun. Good thing I only needed one tube and was able to go get a new heavy duty gun that worked fine after hearing up the glue by letting it sit under the hood and absorb engine heat.Read full review

i bought this stuff to use for an alternate purpose other than windshield install, and it worked great,. a little hard to use because it doesnt come with the little screw on nozzel that is shown in the pix, but i doubt that would help much, because the stuff is thick and it is all you can do to squeeze the caulking gun handle and dispense it without the nozzel anyway, i just pumped it on and spread it out with a putty knife, and the next day after it was dry i tried to pull some of it off to check the adhesion, and man was i surprised and how strong it was, i couldnt break it, and it wouldnt let go either,. great stuff. BUT, messy, it gets on everything you touch- and when you try to wipe it off it gets on everything else too, so be prepared to throw away your gloves, your clothes, and any cheap tools you use with it too,. after it was dry i was able to get it off my putty knife with a bench grinder wire wheel ok,. overall i an very happy with this goo, im going to buy more and give it to freinds and family for birthday presents, etc. alan s, cabazon ca. usaRead full review

easy to use, sets quite well, but there is also plenty of time to position the glass. very strong rubbery bond. I even used a dab to fix my rearview mirror attatchment point in thecenter of my windshield and that has held quite well too.

This stuff is no joke! Would definetly recommend heating up for about 15 minutes before using, dries up fairly quick and it’s extremely strong.

I heated up the glue first with an heater gun and used my battery powered caulking gun to help. The product came out great. This stuff is strong and holds up my window on a classic car. No smell at all either. Once dry you can clean up off glass edges with razor blade. Came on time.

Really good urethane. High quality. Just be sure to heat this prior to use. If you don't heat it to approx 125 degrees it will not come out without putting too much pressure on the rear seal of the tube. Put it in a toaster oven or pot of hot water to get it to temp. Some say place it on a warm engine. Whatever you do you must heat it well. Next, get an air powered caulking gun for continuous beads. They are cheap and will save your hands. The Campbell Hausfeld is approx $35.00 Well worth it! Or get a cordless electric one like the 18v Milwaukee. Make sure to cut the V in the tip. You need the 3/4 inch high stand up V shape to ensure a good seal. If you heat and cut the tip right your golden. Otherwise your in for a mess and a needlessly tough experience.

this product was extremely hard to get out of the tube. Heated real hot using a torch and still would not come out of the tube. The tube was so hot you could not touch it
