This Lupo XD Memory card reader can be used with either PCs or Macs to directly transfer images and video from a digital camera. Doing so simply involves removing the XD card from the camera, and inserting it into this USB reader while it is plugged into the desired computer. No additional software is required; the card will appear as a memory device alongside other devices, in 'My Computer' or the equivalent.

Simplicity itself, essential if you use XD cards.
I have recently rediscovered an old Fujifilm FD31D and have been enjoying using it. However I had no way to upload the photos. The card reader looks like a USB memory stick, you simply put the xd card in the slot, put the USB stick in the computer and the pictures are easily uploaded. Simple and so easy. A real boon if you have an old camera which doesn’t take the ubiquitous SD card and need to save your photos.

Very disappointed to find that the memory card was a tight fit to the adaptor and then find the adaptor does not work. The card works ok on my laptop but not my desk top with the adaptor. Waste of money!

Simple, cost effective solution that just works.
A cost effective to a problem for those with older digital cameras that use what now seems to be a fairly rare XD card. Much easier than connecting camera up via USB and hoping the OS has the right drivers. Simple plug and play. Didn't want to force the XD card in wrongly and too a couple of tries to get it feeling positive. Once card installed, just plug into USB and browse.

Very efficient way of downloading images from XD memory cards, which are now obsolete so you can't always use normal card slots. Both my Olympus camera and my wife's use these XD cards so this is very helpful and seems to work well.

Bought this reader after reading other reviews from buyers experiencing the same problems as I had where my existing card readers just simply would not work correctly with Windows 10. I have a specific use for an old Olympus camera which I haven't used for around 10 years and now I can read the Xd cards again, it'll save me buying another camera for this application.
