I purchased a Chinese tablet the CHUWI Hi10 Pro with the add on keyboard. It had attractive specifications, the iPad laminated retina display, and OK processor with great power management, dual boot to Android, for when you need to use Android and a really nice, rugged aluminum shell. Well, there were lots of things right but there were lots of things wrong. First of all the keyboard, when closed, allowed for the track pad to rub on the tablet screen. The tablet screen was made of soda-lime glass and was easily all scratched up. The laminate also came off part of the screen. The power management of the tablet made it so that powering up from sleep took over a half of a minute. The keyboard was terrible. Well, actually it was the track pad on the keyboard but while typing and even if you didn't touch the track pad, the mouse cursor would jump to other portions of the screen and typing would continue in some random location. There were more issues and I know this is supposed to be a review of the Surface Pro 2 but I just wanted to say that I purchased it to replace the CHEWI tablet. There's really only a couple of thing that I don't necessarily like about it (the thickness and the aspect ratio of the screen) but it really is a joy to use when I compare it to the thing I replaced. If you're thinking of a Chinese knock-off, think twice, a used Surface Pro 2 is a much better choice. The power management isn't that bad, either (Microsoft went through a period of pain but finally fixed it).Read full review

Compared to my Dell R17 Core I7 Laptop, it seems to hang up allot on the same applications/programs I run on the Dell without issues. Have to do allot of power resets to get if out of hang mode. An additional USB port (2 total) would have been nice. Slippery to handle when not in a case do to it's larger size, would be nice with a textured back for grip. Would I buy again........no.

I bought this for 150 and was blow away by it for the price this things amazing I considered buying other 2in1 laptops in the same price range but most had weaker processors (not bad) and lower performance in general and this machines are brand new the other gavroe that won this for me was it upgradebility software wise this is a laptop technically and well you can install any OS you wany where some tablets won't boot USB OS's and well your stuck with what you have. The o e downside was it's screen is smaller than I'd like and it's wider than I'd like. But I can't complain for the price if you have the money I would get the pro 3 or pro 4

Very happy with this purchased. The tablet performs great and very easy to use. I use it more then the 2nd generation IPAD I already had. It is like having a micro computer around. Only issue is that the keyboard feels too flimsy. The keyboard has flat keys and require that up type with a little force to type. Beside some minor cosmetic issue the tablet works fine. Had to download the new windows 10 OS. but that was ok. Delivery time was very fast and packaging very secure.

This is the perfect thing for you if you are always on-the-go and needs a tablet that can also be an ultrabook. It has an ok-ay background for artists and people that adore drawing, and comes included with a Stylus Pen that you are able to latch or attach to the side of your Microsoft Surface Pro on the charger input port. If you want a Tablet, AND an Ultrabook, this is the Microsoft product for you! It has four Gigabytes of Rapid Accessible Memory, and you could always get an upgrade on your RAM if you demand more RAM on your Microsoft Surface Pro device. But this does not come with a Type Cover or Touch Cover, sadly, so if you are going to be using desktop mode frequently on the go, I recommend separately buying a Type Cover or Touch Cover. But, to the bottom line, which was already explained, I rate this device four stars, it is a good device, but it is not the perfect device, and this is NOT, I repeat, NOT going to replace an iPad OR an Ultrabook Laptop, so do not buy this as a laptop. Well, that is my Review on the Microsoft Surface Pro, and I do understand if it was too long; didn't read. But I recommend buying a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet.Read full review
I got this tablet to use as an art tool as well as my daily laptop. The 4 GB internal RAM is more than enough to run very large applications like photoshop and procaster at the same time, the pressure sensitivity works great and the updated drivers allows support with photoshop as well as most other art programs. I love the touch interface combined with windows 8, it makes for a really intuitive and easy to manage multiple tasks at once. I love the smallness of it, its by far the most comfortable set up I could think of for a digital artist.
