Seller should be clear that the starter requires 4 gauge cables.
I have no doubt this will be an awesome starter but it wont turn over until we get heavy duty battery cables. Its not just for "optimum performance" - you absolutely have to buy 4 gauge battery cables for this starter. I wondered why it wouldnt start then I read the instructions included.
My Harley was hard starting. It would often stop on compression stroke, or kick back and damage the starter clutch gear or ring gear teeth. Not anymore. I have not had this starter long, but so far, the bike starts instantly now.
