Not for dot4
I installed these in my caliper, installed on my bike, and then the next morning realized the pistons were seized. Took the caliper apart and the pistons would not budge. I had to bring it to my local bike shop to have them removed. Installed genuine HD kit and has worked flawlessly since. Stay away if you're using dot4. Just what i needed to repair my motorcycle brakes. I had ordered just the seals at first but removal of the piston cups is difficult. So pull the calipers and pads and pump up the calipers to get the pistons moving and pushed out. I found some pistons needed to be pulled on with pliers to get out so they then needed replacing. I ordered these and they came in just a couple days. The new pistons had a little break in period as they would retract a little bit when the brakes were released and brake lever would not get hard. Resolved this by assuring all air was gone. Rode the bike a little and got the brakes good and warm. And then held brakes until they cooled about an hour and they took a set.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
