So far I've purchased 3 of these units. Here's the good; they all work really well. Here's the bad; One operates in Celsius and cannot be switched to Fahrenheit and has a power cord that plugs in to a 110 outlet that operates the system from the inside head unit. The other 2 operate in Fahrenheit and the power cord operates the system from the outside condensing unit having to be hardwired with additional materials required. I prefer the Fahrenheit because I'm American and this is the USA, however the power operating from the inside head unit with a simple 110 plug was really nice on the Celsius unit. Also, one of the Fahrenheit units had a broken drain and ruined the drywall in about a 6 square foot area of my wall and required a technician to take the head unit apart to repair at an additional cost for service call and hourly rate for approximately 3 hours, "not cheap"!!!!!! And then I had to hire a handyman to patch the drywall and paint the entire wall. However, all three units are functioning as they should at this time. Read full review

Purchased the same system about 18 months ago, ended up getting a leak at a seam within the condenser. Worked great beforehand though. Decided to replace with identical unit - only to find out they are not identical. Went from 1/2 and 1/4 inch copper pipes to 3/8 and 1/4 inch so I had purchase an additional longer line set after the unit arrived. Also oddly enough the 1/4 inch flare is stamped 7/16 and the 3/8 flare is stamped 5/8. Also the original indoor unit plugged into a 110 outlet and the new unit needed to be hardwired in from the outside unit. I expected a quick plug and play replacement that ended up being a couple day debacle. It’s installed and functional now so time will tell if I’ve made a good decision.

Ive had it installed for a week, seems about the same as the ac(window unit) i replaced it with. Cools good in a 500sq room it is super quiet! Doesn’t seem to blow as hard as the window unit.

I bought 2 of these and both are running great after 2 weeks. The seem to have no trouble cooling my 1100 sqft house even when it is 95-100 outside. Super quiet inside and outside units. Very easy to install everything was in the kit except a mounting bracket but I purchased those separately. So far I can't say anything bad about these units.

This is an okay unit. Some of the competitors 12btu mini splits allow for you to wire a 110v plug into an outlet for power. This one needs to be hardwired in, which is a letdown when you were mentally prepared for the plug. The quality of the unit is just as good as any unit. I don’t know if I ever had one as quiet and this is my 12th mini split in the last 5 years. Time will tell.
