This is an excellent fidget knife and a joy to carry and use! I also own a Benchmade Bugout and replaced it's scales with aluminum ones by a company called Aimfront (highly recommend btw). My Bugout was significantly improved since adding those sturdy scales. I do not however have a desire to change the scales on my Para 3 Lightweight. FRN just feels like the right choice for this knife. I think it's overall a huge improvement over the Para 3. The wire clip is perfect and the texture of the handles is excellent. Get one! You won't be sorry.

Ok guys n gals, here’s my take on this one. Yes, I rate it a 5 and yes I do recommend it.....BUT.... understand that when Spyderco touts this as lightweight, they mean it. It weighs almost nothing and that’s how it feels in the pocket.... like it’s not even there. That’s great, I love that about this blade. I had read about folks not being so peachy about the overall in-hand feel of this knife. I thought to myself.... “what are these people complaining about? YouTube has a lot of gear reviewers that tested this knife and a great many of them have all said the same thing about how it feels cheap, but it’s not cheap. If you research products before buying them (or handle them in-store if available) you’d know about all that well I’m advance, right? So, I whip out the ol’ plastic and placed my order. Well..... I’m here to tell you.... I felt an immediate let down when I took this thing out of the box and started fidgeting with it. Yeap, I knew it would feel this way, spent north of a c-note on it, and yet STILL i almost regretted buying it. You gotta get over the feel of cheapness. It really isn’t cheap, it’s well made but does not feel near as nice as saaay, my Manix 2 LW for example. Once I got over the feeling of it and started carrying it and using it, I’m a very happy camper. If you really prefer the heft of a knife with steel liners or even just the feel of G10 over FRN, you may not like this one. It does feel cheap, it does sound cheap when you handle it. The action of the lock is awesome, came centered right out of the box, great blade. It’s a tool that you’ll want to fidget with like a toy, but when it’s time to get down to business, it does not disappoint. Read full review

Absolutely amazing smaller edc knife. I can get a full ham handed gorilla grip on this without even having to choke up on the finger choil. The CTS-BD1N takes an absolutely wicked sharp edge on it. I love it!!

This knife not only met, but exceeded all of my expectations. I have many spyderco knives and I was looking for a light weight option for EDC at work (I'm an ER nurse). The knife checks all the boxes. Deep carry pocket clip. Great ergos. Lightweight. Sleek look. Smooth and fast deployment.
