Probably one of the best Minidiscs that you ccan buy today.
I am pleased to find that the Sony Minidisc has been constructed using good quality components, such as an aluminium sliding cover (embossed with the Sony logo) to protect the surface of the disc. A recently purchased Minidisc from another well-known brand had a plastic sliding cover, which may have been manufactured this way to minimise production costs. I also prefer the softer plastic case that the Sony Minidiscs are supplied with, as the more typical hard plastic cases are more prone to cracking if dropped accidentally. It is clear that the demand for Minidiscs has fallen considerably since many people have lost interest in this excellent format, which results in a limited choice when looking to purchase new Minidiscs. However, I would be happy to order more of these Sony Minidiscs when required and can certainly recommended them. D. Andrew DoggartRead full review

SONY 80 min Minidisc - Quality with humble look
This is a very classic build in Minidisc. The outlook is in plain silver. The casing is transparent on both sides, the disc itself inside is clearly visible. The protective shutter is made of metal aluminium, embossed with the SONY logo. The casing shell is also plain, without any fancy wordings,.. like Sound Protection, Shock Resistant .... etc. But, the disc performs very well. It goes in and out of the Minidisc deck smoothly, without any jittering. The disc reproduce perfect sound quality, without any faults at all. The disc are individually wrapped in tight fit, elastic plastic. There is no worry that the disc would be contaminated once the box is torn opened. It is a very good disc , I like it very much. It looks very refreshing to one's eye.

Love the mini disc over cd and flash drive for several reasons I wish I had about $ 10.000 dollars there are 3 mini disc I wold like to by and more disc blank and trun my office/recording office I like the mini disc you record on them move tracks around delete tracks set the volume level where you want it there incase pretty hard to destroy the disc I've had disc 30 yrs old and sound great even to date I love the control I have

Too Bad...No Substitute
It's too bad this medium never caught on in the U.S. It's the easiest and most portable recording medium that does not require a computer. I still use them to make "Mixtapes", because there is no substitute for listening to the music as you record it in real-time.
