For the price it's a winner. An Axial Honcho clone that is very capable. $200 vs $500. The body is a bit weak, but if you reinforce it with tape tricks it's fine. For backyard recreation it's great. In my opinion it's worth the money for the capability out of the box with no upgrades. Metal frame, links, bars, and shock caps. Plastic cage, driveshafts, gearbox, and bumpers. Tires and wheels are fair to good with a full size usable spare. Radio was nice and very function friendly. Servo, motor, and esc was plenty powerful. Included is a full line of replacement or upgradeable parts list book. 👍 From me.

Love the location of the battery to help put the weight on the front of the rc. A switch was provided if desired which is nice. It's great there's a third channel for adding lights and already labeled on the controller. Great price for a great rc. Definitely going to enjoy it. Definitely recommend

You will need to do some work on it but it is a solid crawler platform and performs extremely well with a few mods mine has had both front and back bumpers removed and the frame rails cut shorter in the front plus the panhard arm and both mounts have been removed and I added a suspension link to make it 4 link front and rear I put a stronger steering servo and put custom bent steering link to get better steering geometry then removed axle servo mount stubs to allow for full travel then remounted shocks higher to improve the driveshaft angles. Now it works really good it's well worth doing some improvements on it because at only 200.00 it's an impressive crawler that will keep up with others that cost much more.

Only set backs are the axels. They are very wide and tend to snag on things. That said I have put it through the ringers and even rolled about 30 ft down a very steep bolder. It is still in one piece and running. Axle to wheel connections feel slightly cheap and I feel it may be a breaking point in the future however that is on any RC crawler!

I bought this as a RTR platform for modifications, so I've already removed the stock body and put in a Li battery. This is a decent enough crawler, however. I would recommend this one as a good beginner model for those looking to get started in RC crawlers without dropping twice the money. I put the Proline Strikeforce body on this, fit like a glove. My kids are gonna love it.
