it does what i expected except the usual when operating system upgraded there's usually legacy software, apps that no longer are downloadable or operational in new environment . got it for the more effective upgraded apps but lost some older apps in process that i didn't think of. but it's good enough. Everyone might keep that trade off in mind

I am extremely satisfied with my iPad in just about every way. The screen is a good size yet not too large to still hold and use normally and it is pretty light even with a case on it. The battery life is great! I can use it all day non stop with out the battery running out and if you use it on and off it can last for days with charging. It does take a little longer than other devices to get a full charge but it holds it's life much longer. One flaw I have found is that Apple devices do not have and can not have adobe flash player without buying a fairly expensive app but you can get adobe if you want it. Overall the iPad is a great buy and there really is not much to complain about.
I've tried many electronic devices by many companies and have found that the Apple iPad Air 64 GB with wifi is the best buy and excellent resale value. It is the easiest to learn and use out of any tablet. The Apple iPad comes easy to set up and offer any application you could ever want. Many options to secure your tablet and easy to find if lost with a free iCloud email account. iCloud allows you to connect all your Apple devices. Easy to back up on your computer or use your free iCloud extra storage and back up. If interested in more memory or back up you can purchase it easily and securely at reasonable prices. I've found that 64GB is enough memory for more than the average user would ever need. I have friends young in age and up there in age that can navigate well with their iPad Air and have no problems. I find I almost never use my Apple iMac computer since I have this iPad with wifi. You can do everything from your iPad wirelessly like ordering a pizza to ordering pictures at your store of choice without moving an inch. Compatible with almost all programs and easy to share photos, FaceTime anywhere around the world free as long as you are in a free wifi internet area. Connection is easy and clear. I highly recommend this iPad Air to anyone. Takes excellent pictures and movies. You can wirelessly show your pictures, or movies on your wifi TV easily with wireless internet. You can even download a video application to organize video with music and titles in almost any way you like. Very easy to use and it teaches you for a change instead of you having to read a manual and try to teach yourself. Always updates applications or fixes in programs. Easy security and multiple email accounts. I couldn't recommend this iPad more. Apple is synonymous quality and you won't be disapointed. Very light weight. Highly recommend a case. Never expected to an iPad Air much less to even consider iPads/Tablets. Was content with my smartphone until I REALLY started using it for more than phone calls. I'm not tech savvy but wanted to save my eyesight. I was shopping around for 4th generation iPads and was told by a friend to check eBay, which I'm glad I did. I absolutely LOVE IT! It's lightweight, convenient and serves its purpose for work (mainly) and leisure. No major dislikes so far (just received two days ago) and feels much lighter than previous iPads. Very satisfied customer - well worth it
I wanted to upgrade from the iPad 4g with 32gig to the iPad Air with more horsepower and more storage. I use the iPad mainly for music playing and recording. Some of the synth apps I use are big apps, and the processing of the recording apps needs all the processing I can get. The iPad Air plays nicely with my apps, always can use more horsepower. Apple continuously changes the design just enough on their products to make it a pain to use iPad stands, covers, and connections. That and the problem of exporting to a portable HD my recordings make me not like it so much. But I'm hoping with the release of iOS 8 this fall, the Devs of my favorite apps will find a way to export my wav files to and external HD. I could export to iTunes, but why?!
